On Friday 7/27/12, Belinda and I along with my granddaughter, Kailee visited the FAU Second Avenue Studio in Ft. Lauderdale for the Florida Craftsmen show Fresh Design. It was beautifully staged with good lighting and pieces were clearly described. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the visit!

The white pieces were nylon that had been burned/melted. The box frame on the left held a mass of the burned pieces that curled up like dipping corn chips.
Below is a landscape painted with paste paint.
Below is "Gina's Wall"
The piece below was so intricate in construction but it somewhat mimicked the paper chains we made with chewing gum wrappers.
Below is the final piece that LeeAnna asked advice about at the last Fiber Guild meeting regarding the construction.
This piece was so heavily stitched it must have been stiff with threads.
