I meant to link this up awhile ago - their site is a little glitchy. If you can get to it the process of farming indigo, processing it then dyeing is quite involved.

Their art is gorgeous!

Another layer for Belinda's watercolor experiment

Belinda left it behind at my home a couple of weeks ago - so I HAD to play with it a little.

(Penance for not getting to the quilting of her vintage project??)

Here's what I added:

1. added titanium white acrylic thru doily stencil
2. Washed watered Green Gold acrylic around central motif
3. Washed Quin Gold over Green Gold
4. Rinse and repeat last two steps.
5. Darkened birds with ink marker

Is it done?
